SENIORS PROJECT

Project Lead: Helen Baum

Description: In partnership with Sebastopol Area Senior Center (SASC), the project will bring together seniors and teens for discussion, help with technology etc.

Goals

• Identify goals from the SASC members as a beginning for the Senior

  Project.

• Progress: The initial project addressed the felt need for seniors to get help in the use of technology (cell phones and tablets). Helen reached out to Analy High School teacher and arranged for a group of students to come to SASC to ‘help’ the Seniors with Tech issues. The meeting was held and as a result, a different direction for the Senior Project emerged. The second phase of the Senior Project for 2025 is to simply continue the talking between Seniors and High School students.
