Purpose of the GHAC Advisory Council
The Advisory Council consists of members of the community who represent local organizations and agencies as well as their own community experiences. These individuals have identifies skills to support GHAC in efforts to change policies and practices that impede the health and well being of residents of West county. This Council is comprised of community partners to address issues of inequality and disparities throughout the life span. Members of the Advisory Council are invited to the Board meeting and receive Board agendas and Board minutes. They are not voting members but may participate in Board discussions. The Council expands GHAC community outreach.
